Dear All,
Green Club of Thoughts (GCT) is the first inter/trans-disciplinary club established at Kathmandu University founded in 2007. The club aims to raise awareness on major educational, technical, social, and economic national issues as well as international issues engaging students of all seven schools in various activities. Since then, to effectuate the objectives of the club it has been working in a wide range of activities from interaction program on national issues to outreach activities in different corners of the country, and has conducted different inter/national workshops and schools collaborating with different community organizations.

GCT released its first issue of a semi-scholarly trans-disciplinary journal ‘acKUaint’, on March 24 in a event organized at CV Raman Auditorium, Kathmandu University. Mr. Dipak Tolange, the founding coordinator of the club shared a glimpse of GCT history whereas the founding advisor of the club Dr. Hem Raj Kafle congratulated and wished for the prosperity of the club and the students. Similarly, Prof. Bivek Baral enlightened the vision and mission of the club, Mr. Anubhav Ghimire shared his remarks on the objectives of journal. Mr. Ashim Joshi, the president of the club, shared his experiences regarding the need of the club and the works it has been doing.
