Dear All,
Green Club of Thoughts (GCT) is the first inter/trans-disciplinary club established at Kathmandu University founded in 2007. The club aims to raise awareness on major educational, technical, social, and economic national issues as well as international issues engaging students of all seven schools in various activities. Since then, to effectuate the objectives of the club it has been working in a wide range of activities from interaction program on national issues to outreach activities in different corners of the country, and has conducted different inter/national workshops and schools collaborating with different community organizations.
Green Club of Thoughts in collaboration with Kathmandu University-Counselling Cell, Rong Rural Municipality-Ilam, Nepal Red Cross Society-Ilam, and Kathmandu University–Community Engagement Department has initiated a suicide Prevention program in Rong Municipality of Ilam District.
GCT is planning on providing teaching assistance along with technical support to uplift the educational standard of Shree Dhaneshwor Mahadev Adharbhut Vidyalaya, Panauti.
GCT is providing technical teaching assistance to Deerwalk Sifal School.
GCT in collaboration with KU Supercomputer Center is planning to conduct SuperComputing Workshop targeted towards High School Students.
'acKUaint' is a semi-scholarly, trans-disciplinary journal released by Green club of Thoughts, Kathmandu University.
The Constitutional booklet is one of the literacy booklets initiated by Green Club of Thoughts. It is a collection of illustrated and interesting publications to enlighten and educate high school as well as university students.
The Financial Literacy booklet is an initiative of Green Club of Thoughts. It is a series of illustrated, engaging booklets aiming at informing and educating students from high school to university students. GCT aims to disseminate these booklets among as many students of the target demographic as possible . To ensure we reach wider audience, we are collaborating with multiple organization ]s that have the resources to help us in this venture.
